I would like to provide all of you Pav Post regulars with a few updates:
1. For those of you who read my "Sexy Man Bag" entry, I am both happy and disappointed to report that he reappeared today in the lunchroom. I actually didn't notice him, but our secretary informed me that he was sitting on the table, waiting for me. YAY! (If only he were more than a bag-could you imagine that shirtless man sitting on your kitchen table, waiting patiently and seductively for you...hotness)! I am, however, slightly disappointed because this means that Barb V. and Cheryl must have other dirt on me for the awards ceremony. I will be sure to let you know Thursday or after what that dirt consists of.
2. Still no cast list posted for "The King and I." I probably won't know who got Anna or any other part until read-through on Monday. GRRR....
3. Ethan is teething (again). This time it's the top front ones (the ones that were SUPPOSED to come in before, instead of his current fangs). And man, is he crabby because of it! He is whiny and tired and impossible to please! And people ask me if we're ready to have another one yet....(Answer-No no no no no. Not for a while!).
4. Next, for those of you who read my "Chip Nazi" post, I am letting you know that she strikes again! Today we were in the lounge, eating lunches (me-a salad, Jell-o, and cheese stick) when the secretary announces that there are Dilly Bars leftover from Friday's Track and Field Day. A few of the teachers went crazy with excitement. "Oh my God! I'll have one!" I knew I shouldn't (a Dilly Bar and a donut in one day-too much "badness") and was already full anyway. So Chip Nazi (aka-Carol) took one, took the wrapper off, set it down in front of her, and says, "I'm gonna leave this here in front of you to see if I can tempt you." What a super beyotch! I looked at her, fire in my eyes, gritting my teeth, and said, "How about you just eat it, Carol, because if I wanted one, I'd go grab my own!" What the frick frack is her problem with me? It's okay though, because school is almost over (only 1 and a 1/2 more days). I can handle it...
5. And finally, I know school is almost over, and I know I've done my fair share of complaining about some of these kids (and their parents). But last night when I was working on their memory books, I realized how much I'm going to miss them all (okay, almost all-DJ doesn't count)! I'll miss their jokes, their energy, and their kindness...but the good thing is they all (with the exception of DJ) will be back next year for 1st grade. I never thought I'd say this, but do you think one of the 1st grade teachers will switch grades with me???
Merry Christmas 2025!
