Happy Birthday Mark!

Today is Mark's birthday. Even though there are times I gripe about my husband, I know there are many things I absolutely love about him. We are very different people, but that's what makes us work so well. He's generally more silly, while I am more sensible. He loves animated TV shows, while I love sitcoms and dramedies. So, today, in honor of my husband's 29th birthday, I will share with you 29 Things I Love About Mark:

1. He goes to work every day, very driven, ready to help his residents anyway he can.
2. He likes to talk to people.
3. He is compassionate.
4. He's a great teacher of crawling and playing with toys.
5. He will try to fix anything, sometimes successfully, sometimes not.
6. He loves to hold me before bed.
7. He can make me (and Ethan) laugh, even on our worst days.
8. He loves to learn new things.
9. He's a loyal friend to me and others.
10. He loves watching movies of any kind (rom-com, kiddie, action, etc).
11. He is affectionate.
12. He's a daredevil.
13. He secretly likes to watch Noggin.
14. He not-so-secretly loves video games.
15. He doesn't get mad when I shop too much (cause he shops, too).
16. His red hair.
17. He always thanks me for what I do-dinner, laundry, etc.
18. He's really good at mowing the lawn and washing dishes.
19. He can go to bed mad, but wakes up ready to start fresh.
20. He knows how to make delicious pancakes, sausage, and eggs.
21. He loves the simple things...a smile, going to Target on a Saturday, and curling up on the couch, watching TV and eating popcorn.
22. He doesn't hold grudges.
23. He takes good care of his family.
24. His child-like nature.
25. He's still romantic and buys me flowers from time to time.
26. He's not afraid to cry occasionally (like when Ethan was born).
27. He's very genuine. He doesn’t try to fake people out or put up a front.
28. His ability to overcome adversity and rise above it.
29. He loves his wife and son unconditionally.

Happy Birthday Baby! I love you and I hope you have a great day!

P.S.-We'll have a party next year for the big 3-0...another way we're different (he wants a party, I'd want dinner with family).
