Sleep Deprivation

Ethan slept horribly last night. He fell asleep at around 10:30, very easily I might add, but woke up at around 12, crying and screaming. I rocked him, gave him some Orajel and Tylenol, but it really didn't help much. I got him back to sleep after about 20 minutes, laid him back down, and went to bed. Not more that 3 minutes later (seriously), he was crying and screaming again. Not about to lose a whole night's worth of sleep, I picked him up and brought him into bed with Mark and I. He dozed off immediately, but woke up again at 2:30-same thing, crying, flailing, cheeks inflamed. We went out and rocked out in the recliner. I got him to sleep again after another 20 minutes and went back to bed, praying he would sleep the rest of the night. My prayers would go unanswered because at 4:40 he woke again. This time, after trying to rock in the recliner to no avail, we laid on the living room floor together where he slept his longest stretch-almost 4 hours (woke for the day at 8:30). He's also been moody throughout the day, due to what I can only assume is him teething. I am hoping and praying for a better night tonight.

Please God, let Ethan (and I) sleep well tonight. Please help his teeth come in quickly and as painlessly as possible.
