Precious Time

So this morning, I had piano/clarinet lessons. Mom offered to take care of Ethan, but I didn't have a car (it was in the shop NOT getting fixed-electrical problem) and I figured he'd be fine for an hour and a half. And he was.

My first two lessons went really well...my students had been practicing and were doing a great job. They also were really patient with the added distraction. After they left, I waited for my 10am lesson. And I waited...and I waited some more. Nothing. They just didn't come. I'm not really sure why, since they never called me, either. So I don't know if they forgot or got confused about what week it was (we have lessons every other week) or if they had other plans. I DO know that it was Mom's birthday today, so that may or may not have had something to do with it. The bottom line is between practice on Saturday and today's fiasco, I am frustrated with people wasting my time. I know I'm not a celebrity or a workaholic, but that doesn't mean that my time isn't precious!
