He's Gonna Be a Musician!

Ethan went to St. Cloud with grandma and grandpa today. They had a good time shopping, driving around, and visiting Bob and Lynne (his great-grandparents). While over there, he discovered their little kiddie upright piano. He started pounding on it and got really excited about the sounds it was making. He was enjoying it so much that Bob and Lynne sent it home with my parents to keep at their house. He loves to listen to music, play with my dad's bass while Dad is practicing, and one day helped me play/turn pages while I was practicing piano for church. It seems like he's always liked music-the first time he kicked while in the womb was during "Wanted Dead or Alive" at the Bon Jovi concert.

I am just excited because I want Ethan to be very musical. I want him to play piano,violin, and sing, but obviously if he wants to play any other instruments, that would be fine, too. I really hope he is a well-rounded child, with many hobbies (sports, academics, friends, video games..you know, that's in his genealogy, too), but music should most definitely be at the top of the list.
