Cookouts Galore!

After a busy day at school today (going to the Como Zoo with 90 children and 70 chaperones), we cooked out again tonight with my parents and my grandparents. I swear, during spring/ summer/fall, we cook out with my parents at least once a week, which Mark and I are both totally cool with. I think I said before that our grill is a pile, and Mark can't really cook on it (raw turkey burgers-ugh), so anytime we can reap the benefits from grilling, we take advantage of it. Now if I can only remember to cook for my parents again sometime soon (remind me, guys).

Anyways, Bob and Lynne brought brats from a meat shop in Clear Lake, so we had a bunch of different kinds-pineapple, mushroom & swiss, blueberry & wild rice, tomato basil, and cheddar. They were delicious. We also had various potato salads, macaroni salad, beans, and coleslaw. Such a perfect night for a cookout-not too hot, not too cold. We had a great time just talking, eating, and enjoying each others' company. And it's only May...that means at least 4 more months of grilling season...YAY!
