Songs to Laugh At

Yesterday before we left my parents' house after the Easter festivities, my dad was singing "Your Momma Don't Dance" to Ethan. He found it absolutely hilarious. Dad sang it to him over and over and every time, he laughed. Then Dad sang a church song called "Refiner's Fire" to him. The particular line was "I want to be....holy." Ethan found that to be funny as well. We all thought maybe it was my dad's singing voice (love you Dad). However, in getting him ready for Grandma and Grandpa's this morning, I sang "Your Momma Don't Dance" and again, he laughed. So apparently it's just the song, not the singer. It just reminded me of the "Friends" episode where Ross and Rachel make Emma laugh by singing "Baby Got Back." Babies are weird. Enjoy!

Just curious..... are you trying to say maybe i don't have a very good singing voice? I mean, that's what it sounds like to me. I can't believe it, i just can't believe it. You ask ethan what he thinks. If he could talk, he'd tell you i'm amazing and fantastic! Thanks ethan! Maybe "mommy" could give me voice lessons, HA!
