Tonight we went out for dinner (Madigan's) to celebrate my mom's birthday. It worked out pretty nicely because after attempting to order two different drinks (Smirnoff Ice-didn't have the flavor she wanted, and Strawberry Margarita-out of strawberries), they finally gave her a drink "on the house." Madigan's pizza is my absolute favorite. And it's always fun to spend time together. Even though I see my parents daily (or almost), it seems like we always have something to talk about.
After dinner, we went over to my parents' house for cake (angel food) and ice cream. The cake was delicious (great job, Dad). And how ironic..."It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown" is on TV tonight-how do you like that, Mom, or should I say "Lucy"?
