Hotel Decor

In two weeks, we have a special event at STFX called Spring Fever. Spring Fever is an adult evening consisting of dinner, drinks, silent & live auctions, and general camaraderie. This year's theme is "Monopoly Mania." As part of the decorating, Heidi (3rd grade) and myself have to decorate a giant hotel with our students. This hotel is about the size of a child's playhouse and is completely 3-dimensional. We have a few ideas on how to decorate it, but I would appreciate any input that you have. Our ideas so far are:
*Snoopy doghouse (but it's a hotel, not a house)
*Castle (not sure how to do this one though)
*Movie theater (with lights, popcorn, etc.)
*House from "Cat in the Hat" complete with book characters (we were encouraged to do the same theme as our basket. My class' basket is "Rainy Day," hence "Cat in the Hat"=rainy day)
*Log cabin
*Barn

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions.
