As we get closer and closer to Easter, we have reached a day that I have been looking forward to for almost 8 months now-Adam is home (albeit, temporarily, but whatever)! Adam is one of my best good friends. We became friends about 4 years ago, when we were in "Cinderella" in Maple Lake. Last summer, Adam decided to go back to school in Minot, ND for education (theatre and literature). Although we speak on the phone every few weeks (less than was customary B.E.-before Ethan), we have not seen each other since the day after Ethan was born.
Earlier today, as my Kindergarteners worked on their jelly bean graphing, I began to bite my nails fervently. I could barely contain both my excitement and nervousness. And when I saw Adam at church tonight, I nearly knocked him over due to my extreme enthusiasm. He's only in town until Sunday night, but I know that we will have a great time until then, talking, singing, and of course, going to Applebee's.
Adam, please hurry up and finish school so you can move back to Minnesota. Sangrias just aren't the same without you.
