Well, as I've continued to say on blog this whole 2-3 months, I am sorry that it's been so long since I've blogged. I have been preoccupied with several things this past week and a half.
Among them:
*My co-worker in Kindergarten returning from her medical leave.
*Feeling ishy from baby-can't eat cause I feel nauseous, but I can't not eat cause I feel nauseous.
*Ethan getting and then recovering from what appeared to be a mild case of croup.
*Getting an H1N1 shot for me and Mini-Bun (none for Ethan yet-apparently he's not as "high risk" as I am, which is maddening-I would rather he have gotten the shot over me, but no luck).
*Work drama, including what's talked about below, but also one of my co-workers is no longer employed at our school. I can't say much more than that, but if you care to know more and are not involved in the school in any way, I can tell you more in private.
*Getting frustrated/angry about above drama.
*Telling a fellow teacher to "Shut up!" after trying to tell me what to do, particularly when I was doing something to help her out (but wasn't quick enough for her tastes).
*MIL drama (although that's pretty much continuous).
*Going to 2 birthday parties as a family-one for a friend, one for a cousin.
*Going to a wedding (just Mark and I, with friends).
*And much more...
Today Ethan and I (along with my mom) went to my cousin Kristi's son Logan's birthday party. It was nice, different than what I would have done, but nice. It's always great to see how many people care for just one little person. He got so many toys...but my favorite moment had to be when Kristi was opening a gift from my aunt and uncle that was purchased at Fleet Farm. I wasn't expecting anything exciting (it's Fleet Farm), but I was wrong. It was...a big yellow dump truck, complete with sounds, seat, and a dump bed full of Mega Bloks. Ethan squealed with excitement and began shaking, fists in the air, smile on his face. It was priceless (so if anyone has time to go to Fleet Farm...) After stealing the show at the party, we came home to pick Mark up, then went to Monticello to pick up Mark's wedding ring (he was having it resized from losing so much weight-gag me). Next we went to Buffalo to trick-or-treat at a few businesses. Now we are at home and taking a break before Ethan and I go trick-or-treating to a few houses here in M.L. while Mark stays home and passes out candy. Finally it's a movie and bathtime before going to bed. Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween! Stay safe and have fun! BOO!
P.S.-Ethan is a spider this year and is SO cute! Will post pictures very soon!
Merry Christmas 2025!
